The percentage of the population reporting other musculoskeletal diseases, which include a broad range of conditions of less frequent prevalence, increased from 4.4% to 6.0% between 1996 to 1998 and 2009 to 2011. The total number of persons reporting one or more such conditions increased from about 12 million to 18.6 million. Persons in the age range of 45 to 64 years are the most likely to report other musculoskeletal disease conditions. (Reference Table 10.1.1 PDF CSV)
